Industrial Maintenance & Reliability Technician (IMRT)

$35.58/hour Summary Description The Industrial Maintenance & Reliability Technician (IMRT) is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving plant equipment reliability. This highly skilled maintenance role supports equipment uptime through preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, precision repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives. The IMRT serves as a key contributor to safety, productivity, and operational excellence across the facility. What You'll Be Doing Follow all safety policies and procedures while promoting a strong safety culture Identify safety risks and proactively implement corrective actions Create, document, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance procedures Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions Communicate maintenance plans and recommendations to operations and maintenance teams Participate in proactive reliability activities including: FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) Analytical Troubleshooting Systems (ATS) Document maintenance work thoroughly to support historical analysis and continuous improvement Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards in maintenance and production areas Select and utilize proper tools and equipment for each maintenance task Perform precision welding based on application requirements Operate shop equipment including lathes, drills, milling machines, and fabrication tools Read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics Maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic systems Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and facility systems Improve equipment reliability through proactive maintenance and process improvements Install and align equipment according to OEM specifications Support lubrication excellence programs and equipment inspection processes Install, troubleshoot, and repair AC and DC drives and motors Fabricate and install electrical, pneumatic, piping, and mechanical systems Support equipment upgrades and reliability improvement projects We'd Love to Hear From You If You have 5+ years of industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience You have experience with PLC systems, Siemens controls, and Allen-Bradley platforms You can pass annual certification testing in: Electrical Systems Mechanical Systems Hydraulic Systems Pneumatic Systems Millwright Skills Welding Machining Electronic Systems You have strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills You can read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics You understand and follow electrical safe work practices and PPE requirements You can work overtime as needed to support projects and equipment repairs You have strong organizational skills and can manage multiple priorities effectively You communicate effectively both verbally and in writing You can lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding maintenance activities You possess strong manual dexterity and experience using maintenance tools and equipment Core Competencies Safety Leadership Accountability Accuracy and Attention to Detail Adaptability Problem Solving Oral and Written Communication Organization and Planning Equipment Reliability Continuous Improvement Technical Troubleshooting Benefits At TOPPAN Packaging Americas, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support overall wellbeing.
