Monument Production & Installation Technician Austin Stone and Monument Wichita Falls, TX Job Details Full-time $14 - $17 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Driver's License Power tools Construction experience Landscaping Hand tools Full Job Description Austin Stone & Monument is seeking a dependable, hard-working individual to join our team as a Monument Production & Installation Technician . This is a hands-on position involving both shop production and the installation of granite memorials in cemeteries throughout the area. No monument industry experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work safely around heavy materials and equipment, and is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors. Responsibilities Assist with the production and preparation of granite monuments Load, transport, unload, and install monuments at cemeteries Prepare concrete foundations and setting areas Assist with sandblasting, lettering, cleaning, and finishing memorials Operate hand tools, power tools, trailers, and shop equipment Safely handle and work around heavy granite Maintain trucks, trailers, tools, equipment, and work areas Perform general shop and property maintenance as needed Follow measurements, layouts, and instructions carefully Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working in cemeteries and around families Work as part of a team to complete jobs safely and correctly Qualifications Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Valid driver's license Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift and carry heavy materials with assistance and equipment Comfortable using tools and working around machinery Strong attention to detail Willingness to learn and follow established procedures Ability to work well with others and take direction Construction, concrete, welding, fabrication, equipment operation, landscaping, automotive, farm/ranch, or similar experience is helpful but not required What We Are Looking For We value reliability, work ethic, common sense, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn more than previous monument experience. This is not a management position. It is a hands-on production and installation role for someone who enjoys working with their hands and seeing a finished product at the end of the day.
Starting pay:
$14.00 per hour Pay may increase based on experience, performance, skills, and demonstrated ability. Full-time position — approximately 40 hours per week.
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
