Overview Position Summary The Electromechanic is responsible for overseeing preventative maintenance and ensuring the timely repair of facility systems and production equipment. This role involves assisting with the selection, installation, and optimization of new production and packaging machinery to maximize uptime and operational efficiency.
Must be open to working 2nd or 3rd shift. Extensive onboarding and initial training will be provided on the 1st shift.

Perform other operational and business-related duties as directed by leadership. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Electrical Proficiency:
Demonstrated hands-on skills in troubleshooting, wiring, and reading technical schematics within a production environment.
Industrial Electrical Experience:
Proven experience safely working with and troubleshooting 3-phase 480V systems, industrial control panels, and manufacturing power distribution.
Mechanical & Controls Knowledge:
Ability to diagnose and repair motors, pumps, bearings, belts, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, mechanical drives, sensors, and controls.
Preventive Maintenance:
Proven capacity to develop, schedule, document, and continuously improve PM procedures for facility and production assets.
Safety Standards:
Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, GMPs, food-safety practices, lockout/tagout, and safe industrial work practices.
Tool Ownership:
Must have basic hand tools for the trade.
Physical Requirement:
Must be able to lift 50 lb Preferred /
Plus Qualifications Production Machinery:
Experience working with baggers, combination scales, feeders, and gas burners a plus but not required.
HVAC Experience:
Hands-on experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial or industrial HVAC systems (air handlers, rooftop units, split systems, exhaust/make-up air systems, and temperature controls).
Boiler Experience:
Experience with commercial or industrial boiler systems and hydronic heating equipment, including burners, pumps, expansion tanks, valves, piping, and combustion components.
System Troubleshooting:
Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, airflow, and basic refrigeration issues, and recognize abnormal operating conditions.
Licensing/Certification:
Relevant HVAC, boiler, refrigeration, or stationary-engineer training, licenses, or documented trade experience is a strong plus.
Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
