Pay:
$20-$30 depending on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment—including air compressors, fire pumps, metal shears, band saws, drill presses, and other production equipment—in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications. Diagnoses mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues and performs appropriate repairs. Uses measuring instruments such as rules, calipers, and micrometers. Operates power tools, lathes, drill presses, band saws, grinders, and related equipment to support effective repairs. Performs general building maintenance and repairs, including work involving boilers. Experience with welding and burning.
