About the Role We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our woodworking cabinet production facility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and has a solid background in both mechanical and electrical systems. You'll be responsible for keeping our equipment running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on woodworking machinery, including: Edgebanders Panel saws Point‑to‑point CNC routers Doweling machines Case clamps Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, misalignment, or potential failures. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and parts inventory. Assist with machine setup, calibration, and optimization to support production needs. Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Follow all safety protocols and ensure machines operate within safety standards. Support facility maintenance tasks such as lighting, compressors, dust collection systems, and general building upkeep. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude with experience repairing industrial woodworking equipment. Solid understanding of electrical systems, including motors, sensors, wiring, and control panels. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals. Experience with CNC machinery troubleshooting is highly preferred. Familiarity with PLCs is a plus (not required). Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and precision measuring instruments. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment. Experience maintaining electrical equipment Experience with leading a team of maintenance personnel or supervisory experience. Preferred Experience Previous maintenance experience in a woodworking, cabinet, or millwork facility. Knowledge of dust collection systems and shop safety standards. Experience with preventative maintenance programs. Work Environment This role is hands‑on and requires time on the production floor. You'll be part of a team that values craftsmanship, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
