Equip Maint Tech III

Job Responsibilities:

Perform all job duties safely and identify opportunities to improve safety throughout the plant. Maintain and repair all equipment at Broan to complete work safely, competently, and on-time to minimize equipment down time. Escalate repairs as appropriate to outside contractors with approval of Maintenance Supervisor. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and assist in the development of concepts and solutions to manufacturing process problems Troubleshoot basic and complex equipment problems and perform repairs to resolve problems. Participate in cross-functional teams to improve plant operations and equipment as needed. Comply with and understand all safety policies to include; LOTO and ArcFlash requirements. Perform PLC programming with a comprehensive understanding of control systems.

Job Requirements:

Two-year technical degree and/or certificate of training or 10 years of maintenance experience. A minimum of 5 years' industrial maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred. Valid Driver's License Ability to read and understand blueprints and basic electrical schematics. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills, and ability to repair systems independently.
