Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / MillwrightRelocation Required -
Saratoga, Wyoming Starting Pay:
$22.00+/hour (Higher wages based on experience)
Performance Bonus:
Earn an additional weekly production bonus equal to 25% of your base hourly wage . We manufacture premium stud lumber and have built a reputation for quality, reliability, and long-term customer relationships. We're looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright who enjoys solving mechanical problems, keeping equipment running, and working with a skilled maintenance team in a modern manufacturing environment. What You'll Do As a member of our maintenance team, you'll help maximize uptime by maintaining and repairing the equipment that keeps our sawmill operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and production equipment issues Repair and replace bearings, shafts, chains, sprockets, conveyors, gearboxes and drive systems Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems Install, align and service electric motors and mechanical power transmission equipment Perform preventive and predictive maintenance Weld, fabricate and modify equipment as needed Work closely with production personnel to minimize downtime Perform equipment inspections and recommend improvements Maintain a safe work environment while following all company safety procedures Equipment You'll Work On This is not a repetitive maintenance position. You'll work on a wide variety of industrial equipment including: Conveyors Sawmill machinery Hydraulic systems Pneumatic systems Gearboxes Chain drives Belt conveyors Electric motors Material handling equipment Heavy industrial production machinery What We're Looking For We're seeking individuals who enjoy diagnosing problems, making repairs, and keeping equipment operating at peak performance. Qualified candidates should have experience with: Industrial mechanical maintenance Equipment troubleshooting Welding and cutting Bearings and shaft alignment Power transmission systems Hydraulics and pneumatics Preventive maintenance Safe operation of maintenance tools and equipment Experience in a sawmill is a plus—but candidates from manufacturing plants, mining, aggregate, food processing, grain facilities, oil & gas, paper mills, power generation, or other industrial environments are encouraged to apply. Qualifications 3+ years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience preferred High School Diploma or GED Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read and use technical manuals and schematics Excellent troubleshooting skills Reliable attendance Ability to work safely as part of a team Physical Requirements Lift 50 pounds or more as needed Climb ladders and stairs Bend, kneel and work in confined spaces Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Why Join Saratoga Forest Management?
