Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Forklift and Refrigeration Maintenance Tech! In this exciting role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts, refrigeration units, and general building maintenance. If you have a passion for mechanical work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for yo Performs all repair and adjustment of refrigeration system, doors, dock levelers, pallet racks, sweepers, sprinkler systems, forklifts, pallet trucks, and electrical work in accordance with OSHA standards. This includes a working knowledge of screw compressors, electrical troubleshooting all common types of ammonia central systems & control/alarm systems. Inspects forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA and operational standards Tests, maintains, and evaluates equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and pressure gauges Maintains accurate preventive maintenance records Complete work order tasks and ensure all performed work is logged into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) daily
Preferred Experience :
2+ years industrial maintenance experience Industrial refrigeration experience Forklift repair and troubleshooting Knowledge of general warehouse practices Electrical controls troubleshootingPhysical Requirements:
May be required to tolerate working environment with inside controlled temperatures of -15 degrees Fahrenheit and outside ambient temperatures (including heat, cold and precipitation) Must tolerate heights up to 35 ft. and be able to access elevated platforms and catwalks Must be able to climb ladders and stairs Frequently required to stand; walk; push; pull; reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; and crouch Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Must be able to use hand and power tools Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and/or manipulate parts & tools Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.
