You will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' inventory remains perfectly preserved by applying your technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems to solve complex operational challenges. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on commercial ice storage and display refrigeration units. Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions to minimize equipment downtime and ensure peak efficiency. Perform skilled plumbing and HVAC-related tasks to maintain system integrity and cooling performance. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and handheld technology to document service activities and adhere to standard operating procedures. Manage service vehicle inventory and equipment to ensure readiness for daily field assignments. Collaborate with retail partners to provide professional service and maintain high standards of equipment reliability. Qualifications Required Skills EPA Certification for handling refrigerants. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration, electrical, or mechanical repair. Proficiency with low voltage controls and programmable logic controllers. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physical capability to lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, and operate power tools. Preferred Skills Journeyman certification or equivalent technical training in electrical or mechanical trades. Experience working in fast-paced retail or commercial field service environments. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical tasks independently.
