Responsibilities:
Responds to customer requests and field dispatches. Meets with customer at site to go over the nature of the service or repair. Provide advanced technical support and performs advanced troubleshooting to the compressor package. Provide advanced technical support and performs advanced troubleshooting on electrical & control systems. Provide advanced technical support and performs advanced troubleshooting of refrigeration system. Performs retrofitting of industrial control panels across multiple manufacturers. Completes the routine maintenance or repair, in accordance withANSI/IIAR-6
2019, as applicable. Inspects machinery to confirm proper working order. Provides preventative measure suggestions. Discusses work completed with customer. Submits all time sheets, expense reports (within 30 days), service tickets, start-up reports, inspection reports, and other required paperwork within the required timeframe. Perform after-hours telephone troubleshooting support. Proficiently train customers on the operation of the equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Your Profile / Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Technical school certification in refrigeration or similar field; preferredRETA CIRO
Certification; preferred 7-10 years of industrial refrigeration experience required Capable of reading P&IDs and electrical schematics. Thorough knowledge of the refrigeration cycle. Knowledge of the major components pertaining to a refrigeration system. Advanced knowledge of screw and piston type compressors and their packages. Advanced working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control schemes. Advanced working knowledge of industrial control panels. Advanced working knowledge of refrigeration systems and all peripherals, including components outside of the GEA scope. Knowledge ofANSI/IIAR-6
2019 and capable of adhering to its standards.ANSI / IIAR-6
certification required or must be able to obtain certification within 1 year. EPA 608 universal certification; preferred. Ability to travel 90% of the time. The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $47.43- 53.
