Pay:

$35.00-$50.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Full-Time About Us Amaral Dairy Tech is a growing dairy service company specializing in dairy refrigeration, milking equipment, vacuum systems, air systems, and emergency service for commercial dairies. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration & Dairy Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong refrigeration troubleshooting skills and is comfortable working in the demanding environment of commercial dairy operations. Experience working on dairies is strongly preferred. This position requires independent problem-solving, professionalism, and the ability to respond to after-hours emergency service calls on a rotating on-call schedule. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems used in dairy operations. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment. Service and repair milking equipment, vacuum systems, compressors, air systems, pumps, and related dairy equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. Communicate professionally with customers. Complete work orders and documentation accurately. Maintain company tools and vehicle. Preferred Qualifications Experience with commercial or industrial refrigeration. Dairy equipment service experience preferred. Ability to troubleshoot electrical control systems. EPA Section 608 Certification preferred. Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals. Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements This position regularly requires: Lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds. Working around livestock. Walking on uneven and wet surfaces. Climbing ladders and working in confined spaces. Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods. Schedule Full-time. Participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service is required.
