$35.00 - $55.00 per hour

Full-Time Overview J.P. Kempf is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Field Technician to join our growing team. For more than 44 years, J.P. Kempf has provided innovative refrigeration solutions for the industrial food and beverage industry. We are recognized as refrigeration design specialists, delivering precision-controlled systems while remaining at the forefront of environmentally friendly refrigeration technology. This position is ideal for a skilled technician with refrigeration service experience who enjoys troubleshooting, maintenance, and field service work across a variety of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. Perform preventative maintenance and service calls at customer facilities. Inspect refrigeration equipment and identify operational issues. Work with AC/DC electrical systems and HVAC/R components. Maintain accurate service documentation and reports. Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations. Travel throughout the tri-state area to support service needs. Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations.
