Our technicians solve complex refrigeration problems that keep manufacturing lines, food processors, pharmaceutical facilities, and cold storage operations running. What You'll Do As an Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician , you'll troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service industrial refrigeration and HVAC/R systems throughout Georgia and surrounding states. Daily Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems Service commercial HVAC/R equipment Troubleshoot compressors, evaporators, condensers, controls, valves, and refrigeration circuits Perform preventive maintenance on industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems Service hydronic systems, chilled water systems, pumps, and related equipment Perform system startups, testing, and performance verification Read electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and equipment manuals Accurately document service work using company software Communicate professionally with customers and recommend repair or replacement options Identify equipment replacement opportunities and communicate them to the sales team Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory Participate in ongoing technical training What We're Looking For We're searching for experienced technicians who enjoy solving difficult mechanical problems—not simply replacing parts. Required Qualifications 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC/R service experience Strong troubleshooting skills Experience servicing industrial refrigeration systems Universal EPA 608 Certification OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift 75 pounds Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is highly valued: Industrial Process Refrigeration Low Temperature Refrigeration Two-Stage Compression Ammonia Refrigeration Screw Compressors Reciprocating Compressors Hydronic Systems Chillers Food Processing Facilities Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Cold Storage Facilities Industrial Controls Refrigeration Controls Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Why Join Georgia Mechanical?
