Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ammonia refrigeration systems, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems. Conduct system startups, shutdowns, and performance testing. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in industrial refrigeration equipment. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including PSM/RMP and OSHA standards. Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Provide emergency service and participate in on-call rotation as needed. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems. RETA certification (CIRO, CARO) or equivalent preferred. Strong understanding of PSM/RMP compliance and safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willingness to travel to customer sites (overnight travel will be required).
