Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and related mechanical equipment. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Conduct routine inspections of refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, boilers, and plumbing infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Utilize specialized tools such as ohmmeters to repair electrical circuits and mechanical components. Diagnose complex problems, HVAC/R units, and appliance repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance data for reporting purposes. Assist with property maintenance tasks including equipment repair and general mechanical upkeep. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on commercial refrigeration or HVAC systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction-related projects or property maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Experience working in field service environments with a focus on appliance repair and equipment maintenance. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred.
