Up to $23/hour
Job Type:
Contract-to-Hire (Direct Hire Considered) Are you an HVAC Technician, Refrigeration Technician, or mechanically inclined troubleshooter looking for a stable opportunity with long-term growth? We are seeking a Test Technician to join a growing manufacturing team responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating custom industrial cooling equipment before shipment. This is a great opportunity for candidates with residential or commercial HVAC experience who want a clean, organized work environment without the demands of field service work. What You'll Do Conduct pressurized leak checks on completed equipment Pull vacuum systems and perform refrigerant charging Test and verify equipment performance prior to shipment Troubleshoot and diagnose refrigeration and mechanical issues as needed Read and interpret wiring diagrams and piping schematics Assist with electrical wiring and component verification Ensure all products meet quality and performance standards Document testing results and communicate findings with production teams Preferred Experience Residential or commercial HVAC experience Experience with refrigeration systems and troubleshooting Ability to read piping and electrical schematics Experience wiring basic electrical components Familiarity with brass fittings, copper tubing, and brazing EPA Certification is a plus Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently while supporting team goals What We Offer Competitive pay up to $23/hour Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term career growth Direct hire consideration for strong candidates Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Paid holidays and paid time off All tools and PPE provided Work boot reimbursement program Prescription safety eyewear reimbursement Clean, safe, and organized work environment Friendly, team-oriented culture If you have HVAC, refrigeration, maintenance, or equipment testing experience and are looking for a career opportunity with a growing manufacturer, we encourage you to apply today.
