About the Role As an Industrial Refrigeration Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of complex cooling infrastructure across diverse sectors like food processing and cold storage. You will leverage your expertise in ammonia systems and mechanical troubleshooting to ensure operational uptime and system efficiency for our industrial partners. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance and complex repairs on industrial refrigeration assets to minimize downtime. Diagnose malfunctions in ammonia-based cooling systems, ventilation, and integrated control architectures. Drive system reliability by performing precise troubleshooting and emergency service interventions. Document service activities and technical findings to maintain accurate maintenance logs and client records. Manage daily service workflows while providing clear, professional communication to facility managers. Uphold rigorous safety standards and regulatory compliance during all on-site mechanical operations. Operate autonomously to deliver high-caliber technical solutions that meet demanding industrial performance requirements. Qualifications Required Skills Proven field experience in industrial or commercial refrigeration maintenance. Strong mechanical aptitude with HVAC, heating, and control system components. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical refrigeration issues. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration. Preferred Skills Direct experience working with anhydrous ammonia refrigeration systems. Completion of a formal HVAC or refrigeration apprenticeship program. Familiarity with Freon-based systems and secondary cooling loops. Relevant industrial safety certifications such as OSHA 30, fall protection, or arc flash training. Commitment to pursuing ongoing technical certifications and professional development.
