REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems Day to day maintenance repair to equipment Perform labeling and tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications Support the plant equipment, and maintaining a safe plant meeting all federal, state, and local environment requirements Etc. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must pass a mechanical knowledge test Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry environment preferred Basic computer skills necessary PLC knowledge preferred Physical demands: Climbing ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines and tools Work environment: Must be able to work in areas of extreme heat and extreme cold conditions Position requires a background check and drug test Must be able to learn quickly and make good decisions Must be able to work in a team environment and perform a variety of duties This position does not have an application deadline.
