Full-Time Join Our Growing Team! J. Kirby Refrigeration is looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to join our growing company. We provide commercial refrigeration and HVAC services throughout Maryland, Delaware, and parts of Virginia . If you're an experienced technician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and working independently while being backed by a great team, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment. Service walk-in coolers , walk-in freezers , and reach-in refrigeration units . Troubleshoot and repair ice machines . Service condensing units , evaporators , compressors, and refrigeration controls. Perform preventative maintenance inspections. Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and control systems. Repair and maintain commercial HVAC/R equipment as needed. Complete electronic service reports and communicate findings with customers. Participate in an on-call rotation. Qualifications 3+ years of Commercial Refrigeration experience preferred (willing to train) EPA Universal Certification. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.

Experience with:

Walk-in Coolers Walk-in Freezers Reach-In Refrigeration Ice Machines Refrigeration Controls Low and Medium Temperature Systems Rack refrigeration experience is a plus. Ability to work independently. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders, and work on rooftops.
