Job Description

Overview:
Advanced Commercial Kitchens is a growing commercial refrigeration & kitchen equipment service company specializing in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for a variety of commercial kitchens. Unlike companies that focus strictly on refrigeration, our technicians work on both the "cold side" and the "hot side" of commercial kitchen equipment. We service a wide range of equipment, including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ovens, steamers, hot wells, dish machines, and more. We are looking for a dependable, motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.
Position Summary:
Our technicians are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and servicing commercial refrigeration, and cooking equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and knowledgeable in refrigeration systems and commercial kitchen equipment, and committed to providing exceptional service to customers.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration equipment including: walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, prep tables, & refrigeration systems Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment including: ovens, steamers, hot wells, dish machines, warming cabinets and cooking equipment Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration & kitchen equipment Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing and refrigeration systems Accurately document service calls, repairs and parts used Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment condition and repair recommendations Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area Follow safety procedures and industry standards Manage service schedules efficiently, and respond professionally to service calls Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably after repairs are completed Work independently while maintaining communication with management and customers
Qualifications:
Experience working on commercial refrigeration, and kitchen equipment preferred Strong, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of refrigeration systems, controls, wiring diagrams, and components Ability to work on both Refrigeration ("cold side") and cooking equipment ("hot side") Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Valid drivers license with clean driving record Ability to lift equipment and tools as required Basic computer or mobile device skills for work orders and communication Willingness to continue learning and training on new equipment
