$35 - $50 hourly
DOE Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair refrigeration rack systems (CO₂ and HFC systems preferred). Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on refrigeration and control systems. Handle compressor changeouts, EEV retrofits, leak detection, and defrost issues. Program and troubleshoot control systems (Emerson E2, Danfoss, etc.). Respond to emergency service calls with a sense of urgency and professionalism. Complete service documentation and communicate findings with clients and management. Mentor junior techs and help promote a safety-first culture. This position is safety sensitive.
Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience with supermarket rack systems. EPA Universal Certification required. OSHA 10 certification is highly preferred. Experience with CO₂ transcritical racks is a strong plus. Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Willing to participate in a rotating on-call schedule. Ability to travel when needed to meet customer standards.
