JOB SUMMARY

As a Refrigeration Construction , you'll be responsible to maintain quality workmanship for refrigeration installations, at new stores and remodel construction jobs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Ability to create and modify work schedules to adapt to ever-changing construction deadlines, delays, and weather obstacles. Able to conduct and document toolbox safety meetings. Organizational skills necessary to manage and always maintain a highly productive work environment. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Other Duties as

Assigned Required Skills/Abilities:

Solid customer service skills with a proven track record of effective communication on all levels from General Contractor, Subcontractor, Inspector, Laborer. General knowledge of construction practices and familiarity with equipment, including routine service and maintenance. Able to read blueprints Able to perform accurate material takeoffs and procure materials as necessary while sourcing local subcontractors when necessary. Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and a professional attitude Ability to diagnose complex issues and develop effective solutions Safety awareness: Adherence to safety protocols related to refrigerant handling, electrical safety, and working in confined spaces.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED 5 years' relevant experience of leading and directing refrigeration installations on jobsites.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Exposure to cold temperatures and potential exposure to chemical refrigerants. Primarily working in commercial kitchens, food storage areas, and backrooms of businesses. Prolonged periods of walking and standing. Occasional kneeling, reaching, lifting. Climb ladders. Work in confined or tight spaces. Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently; up to 75 pounds occasionally (with assistance).
