Job Description
H2O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America. H2O is currently seeking a Lift Station Technician to join our team in Laurel, Mississippi.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance and routine inspections. Inspect, maintain, and repair lift station pumps, motors and controls. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in pumps and control panels. Monitor system performance and respond to alarms or emergency calls. Clean and maintain wet wells, valves, and related equipment. Keep accurate service logs, reports, and maintenance recordsOperate hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and power tools safely.
Follow safety protocols, including confined space and lockout/tagout procedures. Assist with other wastewater system repairs as needed. The Skills We Are Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).Valid drivers license required. Experience with pumps, motors, and electrical systems strongly preferred. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in confined spaces/outdoor conditions. Knowledge of wastewater operations or previous utility/maintenance work is a plus. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
