Duties Diagnose and repair various household appliances including washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, and refrigeration units using schematics and mechanical knowledge. Perform electrical troubleshooting and equipment repairs to restore appliance functionality efficiently. Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and service manuals to identify issues accurately. Conduct routine maintenance and preventative inspections on refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and related equipment. Assemble or replace appliance components and parts with precision to ensure optimal operation. Utilize a box truck or similar delivery vehicle to transport tools and replacement parts to customer sites safely and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during every visit. Skills Proven experience in appliance repair, refrigeration systems, HVAC, or field service roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Electrical experience necessary for troubleshooting wiring issues and component failures. Familiarity with equipment assembly, electrical systems, and mechanical components involved in appliance repair. Experience as a delivery driver or operating a box truck is preferred for efficient job site visits. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively across multiple service calls.
