Build your career with a specialized team supporting critical scientific, medical, and laboratory refrigeration systems across the New York and New Jersey territory. Refrigeration Technician / Field Service Technician offers hands-on work with temperature-sensitive equipment, strong autonomy in the field, and a customer-focused culture that values professionalism in hospitals and labs. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Refrigeration Field Technician position include: 3-5+ years of field refrigeration experience Strong refrigeration troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair experience Professional demeanor and ability to work in hospital, laboratory, or healthcare-related environments Experience servicing ultra-low temperature freezers, medical/laboratory refrigeration, cryogenic systems, and walk-ins Validate and monitor temperatures for systems storing medications, research samples, and other regulated materials Diagnose refrigeration issues in the field and complete needed repairs Travel throughout the assigned NY/NJ service territory (Westchester, Bronx, parts of Long Island, and New Jersey), with no overnight travel expected Coordinate through the company's office system for parts, service needs, and field support while working independently and contributing to a team-focused culture
