Service Refrigeration Technician

Join the freije Team! We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration/HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role requires a strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems, particularly in supermarkets, cold storage, commercial, and industrial sites.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on refrigeration and HVAC systems, including supermarkets, single systems, parallel racks, display cases, and walk-in boxes. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and microprocessor control systems. Conduct leak detection procedures and ensure system efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service through timely and high-quality repairs. Maintain detailed service records with photos and notes. Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience in supermarket refrigeration/freezer systems. Knowledge of Novar, CPC, Danfoss Energy Management Controls, and Rack Refrigeration. Proficiency in HVAC systems, including package units and split systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. EPA certification required. High school diploma or GED.
