Job Description

Job Summary:
The refrigeration installer must possess knowledge and experience installing refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers and ice machines. The role requires 3-5 years of experience and the ability to install and start up equipment to manufactures' specifications. This job will be in the Columbus and surrounding areas. Key General Responsibilities Install commercial refrigeration systems (walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, reach -ins, ect). Retrofit and upgrade existing refrigeration equipment. Install refrigerant piping and drain piping. Electrical wiring of refrigeration components. Pressure testing, evacuation and refrigerant charging. Start up, commissioning and customer training. Maintain a clean, safe and organized work site.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of commercial refrigeration installation experience. EPA certified. Strong brazing and refrigeration piping skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn. Basic understanding of safety practices and procedures. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools. Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
