About the Role As a Field Service Technician specializing in major appliances and refrigeration, you will serve as a vital problem-solver for homeowners, ensuring their essential household systems operate at peak efficiency. You will leverage your technical expertise to diagnose complex mechanical issues, providing reliable solutions that restore comfort and convenience to our customers' daily lives. Responsibilities Perform expert diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of appliances, including refrigerators, laundry units, dishwashers, and microwave ovens. Ensure optimal system performance by executing precise maintenance and troubleshooting protocols for HVAC/R equipment. Deliver a superior service experience by communicating technical findings clearly and recommending effective, long-term solutions to clients. Maintain high standards of operational efficiency by managing inventory, parts, and service vehicle maintenance. Drive customer satisfaction by providing professional, timely, and empathetic support during every home visit. Document service activities and technical data accurately to ensure comprehensive records for all repairs. Qualifications Required Skills Proven mechanical aptitude with a strong background in troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems. Possession of a valid EPA Type I or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Physical capability to maneuver, lift, and work comfortably in varied residential environments. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive customer relationships. Preferred Skills Prior professional experience in residential appliance or refrigeration repair. Advanced proficiency in HVAC service, installation, and preventative maintenance. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining high quality-of-work standards. Experience with diagnostic software or mobile service technology platforms.
