Pressure Systems & Refrigeration Operator | Full-Time Pettit Staffing is seeking critical refrigeration, boiler, and pressure systems Operator that keep production running safely and efficiently. This is a temporary to hire opportunity with a full comprehensive benefit package after 90 days. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC-R, mechanical troubleshooting, boilers, compressors, or pressure systems. Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial refrigeration and pressure systems Start, stop, and troubleshoot compressors and refrigeration equipment Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration and boiler systems Assist outside contractors with repairs and maintenance projects Monitor system performance and identify operational issues Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Participate in safety programs and regulatory compliance activities Support plant operations by ensuring refrigeration and utility systems remain operational Preferred Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience Experience with refrigeration systems, compressors, boilers, or industrial equipment HVAC-R training or certification preferred Ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus RETA CARO or CIRO certification preferred but not required Industrial maintenance, food manufacturing, cold storage, or utility systems experience highly desired Ability to safely work around mechanical equipment and industrial environments Ideal Backgrounds Industrial Refrigeration Technician HVAC-R Technician Ammonia Refrigeration Operator Boiler Operator Industrial Maintenance Technician Mechanical Maintenance Technician Food Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Cold Storage Maintenance Technician How to apply: Send Resume Pettit Staffing is an
