We are looking for a highly specialized CO2 technician who can support customers professionally in the field, lead service work and field operations, and travel throughout the region as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair complex CO2 refrigeration system issues
Troubleshoot:
Transcritical CO2 systems Parallel rack systems Gas coolers Electronic expansion valves Refrigeration controls Mechanical and electrical system issues Perform planned maintenance, emergency service, and customer support activities Generate accurate service documentation and reporting Serve as a senior technical representative to customers Maintain strong communication throughout service and project execution Provide technical recommendations and long-term service solutions Support and mentor junior technicians when needed Ensure projects and service work are completed safely, professionally, and efficiently Support CO2 construction, startup, and commissioning activities as required Assist project teams with system startup, controls verification, and operational testing Coordinate with project managers, controls teams, and contractors during startup activities Requirements Extensive hands-on experience with commercial and/or industrial CO2 refrigeration systems Proven experience with: CO2 transcritical systems Advanced troubleshooting Refrigeration controls integration Parallel rack systems Mechanical and electrical diagnostics Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong customer communication and professionalism in field environments Strong written communication skills and experience preparing detailed field service and startup reports Willingness to travel extensively based on customer and project demands Commitment to safety, technical excellence, and high-quality workmanship Startup and commissioning experience is strongly valued EPA Certification required Valid Driver's License required OSHA certification preferred
