Our client is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to support the design of specialized refrigeration systems used in commercial and industrial facilities. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with experienced project teams, visit job sites, take field measurements, and transform concepts into detailed construction drawings. Whether you're an experienced drafter or someone with a strong mechanical drafting background looking to grow, this position offers long-term career development. What You'll Do Create and revise detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD Assist with the transition from 2D drafting into more advanced 3D modeling and design Visit customer sites to gather measurements and document existing conditions Develop fabrication and construction drawings for industrial refrigeration systems Work closely with project managers, fitters, and field personnel to ensure design accuracy Update existing drawings and maintain design documentation Prepare equipment, material, and valve lists as needed Support engineering and project teams throughout the design process What They're Looking For Experience with AutoCAD drafting Mechanical drafting or design experience preferred Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and layouts Comfortable working both in an office environment and occasionally in industrial facilities Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn a specialized industry Associate's degree in Design Technology, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field is a plus, but not required Why Consider This Opportunity?
