Refrigeration Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, valves, and motors
• Weld and braze refrigeration pipes and fittings
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines

Skills:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Experience in field service or equipment repair
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting refrigeration systems
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Knowledge of air conditioning systems is a plus This position requires a high level of technical expertise in Ammonia systems, as well as the ability to perform maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.
