Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems in various settings such as supermarkets, service stations, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures in HVAC and refrigeration systems. Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. Inspect system components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves. Recover and reclaim refrigerant in compliance with EPA regulations. Conduct safety inspections and adhere to safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and service logs. Provide excellent customer service while on-site at clients' facilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a commercial refrigeration technician. EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (Type II or Universal preferred). Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and parallel rack systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions. Skills & Competencies Reliability and strong work ethic. Advanced mechanical proficiency and spatial thinking skills. Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
