Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician for a direct hire opportunity in San Antonio, TX with a leading commercial mechanical contractor. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with strong experience servicing commercial chillers, boiler systems, refrigeration equipment, and complex mechanical systems.   • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems, including chillers, boilers, RTUs, AHUs, VAV systems, pumps, cooling towers, and hydronic equipment.
  • Service air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, as well as hot water and steam boiler systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and identify repair needs to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, mechanical, and control system issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
  • Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and customer communication regarding equipment status and repair recommendations.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures while working in indoor and outdoor commercial environments. Compensation and Benefits
