Performing preventative maintenance procedures and repairs on Thermo King, Carrier and other refrigeration equipment for trucks, trailers and containers with little or no supervision Diagnose and repair/replace compressors, coils, electrical components, etc… Use diagnostic equipment to flash controller, diagnose alarms, implement repairs, etc… Use repair orders to record all work performed and submit on a daily basis Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner Follow established procedures to track work and complete forms connected with work assignments Ensure timely completion of work according to company regulations and procedures, and instruction from
Lead, Supervisor, or Manager Requirements :
At least 3 years of experience with transport refrigeration or heavy truck repair with diesel engine and mobile air conditioning repair experience. Maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the employer's insurance policy Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local government and company standards for reliability and safety Familiar with Thermo King, Carrier, and other transport refrigeration equipment Have good verbal and written communications skills Excellent customer service skills Certified to use refrigerants, R134a, R404, R410, and others as needed May be required to use a laptop computer to diagnose and/or reference repair manuals Must be willing to be in an emergency after-hours on-call rotation Willingness to perform additional duties/assignments as may be required by management
