Job Description
Sandy Sansing Chevrolet of Foley is looking for experienced a World Class, A, and B Tech. (but ruling out used car/C techs) to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them, aiming to maximize reliability and functionality. Automotive Master Service Technician Job Responsibilities Technicians who are well-versed in complex mechanical or electronic systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They must also be good communicators to provide results to advisory staff. Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks) Keep logs for conditions, causes and remedies on repair order hard copies. Automotive Master Service Technician Job Requirements Proven experience as Automotive Service Technician (GM experience and training are preferred) Well Rounded Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic diagnostic systems and methods. Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Proficiency with brakes, steering/suspension. HVAC, engine mechanical/repair, and electrical/electronics required. Diesel, drivability, transmission, and hybrid/EV proficiency preferred, but not required Vocational certification and / or ASE certs are a definite plus. Flat rate hour with additional bonuses and incentives. Must have a clean driving record..
