Responsibilities Diagnose and repair hardware issues on various mobile devices including smartphones and tablets across different operating systems such as Android and iOS. Perform software troubleshooting to resolve system errors, update firmware, and optimize device performance. Use hand tools and specialized equipment to solder components, replace screens, batteries, or other internal parts with precision. Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to identify faulty components and execute repairs accurately. Conduct field service visits for on-site repairs or support at retail locations, ensuring minimal downtime for customers. Provide technical support by guiding customers through troubleshooting steps or explaining repair processes clearly. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures for quality assurance. Requirements Proven experience repairing mobile devices with knowledge of both Android and iOS platforms. Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems such as Windows and macOS, and software troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency with soldering techniques and the use of hand tools for delicate electronic repairs. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and circuit diagrams accurately. Excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues efficiently and determine appropriate solutions. Prior experience in equipment repair or field service roles is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to provide exceptional technical support in retail or customer-facing environments.
