Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Wildlife Exclusion & Field Technician is responsible for inspecting properties, performing humane wildlife removal, and completing structural exclusion and repair work to prevent future infestations. This role plays a critical part in protecting customer properties, health, and peace of mind while delivering long-term, high-quality solutions. Technicians work independently after training, represent the company directly with customers, and are expected to uphold safety, quality, and service standards across every job site.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
The following objectives define success in this role and focus on the most important execution items: Conduct thorough residential and commercial property inspections to identify wildlife activity, entry points, and structural vulnerabilities. Perform humane wildlife removal and exclusion in accordance with company standards and regulations. Install exclusion systems including one-way doors, barriers, and reinforced seals to prevent re-entry. Complete high-quality structural repairs to vents, soffits, fascia, crawl spaces, and other access points using construction-grade materials. Follow all OSHA, safety, and company protocols when working at heights, in confined spaces, or around wildlife. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding findings, services performed, and prevention recommendations. Accurately document inspections, services, materials used, and outcomes within company systems. Manage daily routes and appointments efficiently to meet scheduled service windows. Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in clean, safe, and working condition. Participate fully in training, ride-alongs, and ongoing development to meet performance standards. Collaborate with team members and leadership through daily communication and meetings. Address urgent wildlife issues promptly and escalate complex situations as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
GED or High School Diploma required Minimum 1-2 years of handyman, construction, maintenance, or related field experience required Wildlife control, pest control, or exclusion experience preferred but not required Company-provided training and supervised field experience required prior to independent work Current State Driver's License with a clean driving record required Pest Control or Wildlife Control certifications preferred; company support available to obtain
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires regular physical activity and the ability to work in varied environments. The role involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, crawling in attics and crawl spaces, and lifting or carrying tools and materials. Technicians should expect exposure to outdoor weather conditions, confined spaces, low-light environments, and occasional noise from power tools. The job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and perform tasks while wearing OSHA-required personal protective equipment (PPE).
