Role Description The Technician role at Meineke is a full-time, on-site position based in Glendale, AZ. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. The Technician will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, complete repairs to manufacturer and company standards, and document all work performed in service records. This role also involves using diagnostic equipment, following safety and quality procedures, and communicating clearly with service advisors and other team members. Technicians are expected to maintain a clean work area, uphold customer service standards, and support a team-oriented shop environment. Qualifications Ability to perform automotive maintenance and repair tasks, including basic diagnostics and use of standard shop tools. Knowledge of vehicle systems (brakes, suspension, engine, electrical) and willingness to follow manufacturer specifications and company procedures. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document work and follow safety and quality guidelines. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-focused mindset. Prior experience in an automotive shop or technical training in automotive technology is preferred. Ability to work on-site full time in Glendale, AZ, including standing for extended periods and lifting parts and equipment as needed. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record; ASE certifications or willingness to pursue certification are a plus.
