About Eric & Sons Eric & Sons is a fourth-generation, family-owned company serving Northern Arizona for more than 25 years. We specialize in fireplaces, outdoor living products, BBQs, fire features, and skylights for homeowners, builders, and remodelers. We're proud of the reputation we've built over the years. Most of our business comes from referrals and repeat customers, and we believe that's a direct result of doing quality work, treating people with respect, and standing behind what we do. About the Position We're looking for a full-time Service Technician to join our team. This position includes diagnosing and repairing fireplaces, performing annual maintenance and inspections, starting up new installations, and helping homeowners understand how to safely operate and care for their fireplace. You'll also service outdoor fire features and built-in grills. Every day is a little different, and you'll spend most of your time working independently while serving customers throughout Northern Arizona. Fireplace experience is a plus, but it isn't required. If you have experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, propane, or another mechanical trade, we're willing to train the right person. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in doing quality work. Is dependable and shows up ready to work. Enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems. Communicates well with customers. Works safely and pays attention to detail. Is willing to learn and continue developing their skills. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair gas, wood, pellet, and electric fireplaces. Perform annual maintenance, inspections, and safety checks. Start up newly installed fireplaces and explain their operation to homeowners. Service outdoor fire features and built-in BBQ equipment. Follow manufacturer installation and service procedures. Complete service documentation using our software. Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and tools. Provide professional, courteous service on every job.
