Lexus Carlsbad Quick Service Technician Position Summary The Quick Service Technician is responsible for efficiently performing required maintenance on customer vehicles including performing oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements and other basic maintenance.

Requirements:

Major Essential Duties Works alongside an assigned technician to learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs. Assists assigned technician as needed. Delivers customer cars to service stalls as requested by technicians. Picks up parts from the parts department as directed by technicians. Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed. Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor. Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Perform road tests to confirm repairs have been properly completed. Maintain technical competence by attending required factory sponsored classes. Keep abreast of Toyota/Lexus technical bulletins. Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA laws. Follow all safety and work instructions in handling equipment and materials. Maintain clean and safe work area at all times. Follow all quality control processes and procedures. Maintain a safe driving record. Perform dealer trades and/or other driving duties. Other duties may be assigned. $18-$20/ hour
