Jim Brangham Auto Repair is looking for an experienced Master Diagnostic Technician who enjoys diagnosing complex vehicle concerns and takes pride in fixing vehicles correctly the first time. We're searching for a highly skilled automotive professional who can work independently, think critically, solve difficult problems, and still be an important part of a collaborative team. If you're someone who enjoys diagnostics more than simply replacing parts, we'd love to talk with you. What We're Looking For We're seeking a technician who: Has 5+ years of recent professional automotive diagnostic experience. Has advanced experience using professional scan tools and factory diagnostic information. Can confidently diagnose check engine lights, drivability concerns, electrical issues, communication faults, and intermittent problems. Has strong automotive electrical diagnostic skills, including reading wiring diagrams and performing electrical testing. Has hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing automotive A/C systems (R-134a and R-1234yf). Can accurately interpret live data, fuel trims, freeze-frame data, and other diagnostic information. Works independently with minimal supervision. Produces consistent billed labor hours while maintaining quality workmanship. Is dependable, punctual, and ready to work every day. Takes pride in staying organized and documenting repairs thoroughly. Works well with Service Advisors and fellow technicians. Is willing to mentor and assist teammates when needed. Continues to learn as vehicle technology evolves. Hybrid and Electric Vehicle diagnostic experience is a strong plus.
