Job Summary Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of specialized accounting duties in the development of financial statements and records for a complex and highly accountable set of financial accounts such as food service, payroll, and general ledger; lead other accounting personnel in specified accounting areas such as accounts payable, payroll, benefits, ASB and food service Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education:
High School graduate or the equivalent. Proof required. Two years of college-level coursework in accounting.
Experience:
Three years of experience in accounting clerical functions.
Testing:
Passing score on District Accounting Technician within the last three (3) years.
Other:
Bilingual/Spanish desired.

TESTING INFORMATION
The District Accounting Technician test will be administered by invitation only on Thursday, September 24th, 2026. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to test and notified via email.
