• Schedule:

• Monday to Friday OR Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM ? 6:00 PM (two days off per week).

• Advanced Taxidermy has been a leader in the industry for 40 years, established in 1986.

Born from a passion for nature, hunting, and fishing, we offer a full line of high-quality taxidermy services, including big game, life-size mounts, shoulder mounts, birds, mammals, reptiles, fish, as well as reproductions, dioramas, murals, and custom carpentry. The business operates out of a state of the art studio, recently built in 2022.

• Job Summary:

• We are currently seeking an experienced, self-sufficient Taxidermist to join our team. This position is
• not an apprenticeship or training program
• . Applicants
• must have extensive, hands-on experience
• and be capable of managing the entire taxidermy process independently, from start to finish.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and mount skins of animals (especially mammals) for preservation, scientific, or display purposes.
• Handle all stages of the taxidermy process: skinning, fleshing, tanning, form alterations, fitting and mounting hides.
• Maintain inventory of birds, mammals, reptiles, and fish.
• Assist with research and inventory documentation.
• Complete all work efficiently and to a high standard.

• Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of professional taxidermy experience.
• Proven experience in life-size mammals and shoulder mounts
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
