highly skilled and motivated Hardware Laptop Repair Technician at the Experienced Level to join our dynamic technical support team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of consumer and business laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. Your expertise will ensure that customers receive prompt, reliable service, helping them get back to their digital activities with confidence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical proficiency in hardware diagnostics, software troubleshooting, and electronics repair within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Your hands-on skills and problem-solving mindset will be vital in delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of quality. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, and other personal electronics to identify hardware or software issues. Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, soldering equipment, and schematics for precise hardware maintenance. Troubleshoot operating systems including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS to resolve software conflicts or malfunctions efficiently. Conduct hardware repairs such as replacing screens, keyboards, batteries, motherboards, and other internal components. Support customer service efforts by explaining repair processes clearly and providing technical troubleshooting support tailored to user needs. Utilize technical analysis skills to interpret schematics and circuit diagrams for complex electronic repairs like electrical soldering or equipment repair. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures for quality assurance and inventory management. Skills Extensive experience with laptop troubleshooting across multiple operating systems including Windows and macOS. Proficiency in mobile device repair for Android and iOS smartphones as well as consumer electronics like printers and copiers. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components such as motherboards, RAM, storage devices, power supplies, and peripherals. Skilled in using hand tools for delicate repairs including soldering techniques for circuit board repairs. Ability to perform hardware diagnostics accurately using specialized tools and software troubleshooting techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and technical support in field service or retail environments. Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation for complex electronic equipment repair. Capable of working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings requiring quick analysis skills and attention to detail.
