This field-based garage door service role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and delivering excellent customer experiences in residential settings. As a Residential Technician, you will diagnose garage door and opener issues, explain repair and replacement options, complete service work, and build trust with homeowners. This opportunity offers hands-on training, a supportive team environment, strong leadership, and a clear path to grow technical, customer service, and consultative sales skills. Key Responsibilities Complete scheduled residential service appointments and provide professional, customer-focused support. Diagnose garage door, opener, and accessory issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions. Present service options, explain products and warranties, and support consultative sales opportunities. Perform repairs, installations, and maintenance work accurately, safely, and efficiently. Prepare estimates, review work orders, collect payment as needed, and maintain clear customer communication. Keep a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle while maintaining product and service knowledge. Compensation and Benefits Direct hire opportunity.
Salary:
$52,000 annually.
Training pay:
$25 per hour for up to 8 weeks.
After training:
100% commission for Washington and other California locations.
Anticipated start date:
8/31/2026. Flexible schedule required, including weekends as needed.
