Santa Barbara, CA Job Details $33.80 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Driving Full Job Description Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards. Accurately diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and drivability concerns. Complete repair orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Test drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic equipment to identify concerns and verify repairs. Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding recommended repairs, additional work needed, and estimated completion times. Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and specifications. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through ongoing training and manufacturer programs. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with dealership policies, safety standards, and legal requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Deliver repairs correctly and on time to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Previous automotive technician experience required. Ford, or other Domestic OEM certifications preferred. ASE certifications are a plus. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Technical or trade school education preferred. Ability to read and interpret repair procedures and technical information. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
