Job Description

Install Helper - Overhead Doors We are hiring an Install Helper. We are willing to invest in you with training for the overhead door trade. Previous experience in the overhead door industry, construction, or similar trades would be a great help and increase the starting pay. The job consists of assisting with installing overhead doors in a residential setting. Further options for advancement exist in the company, including service, commercial installation, and sales. The starting pay is based on experience. Full Time employees are eligible for health insurance after a waiting period. Barton Overhead Door pays 100% for the employee and a portion of dependents. Paid vacation is available after one year, along with several paid holidays each year.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with installing garage doors, garage door openers, springs, and parts as needed. Think on your feet and improvise as necessary in a construction atmosphere. Interact with customers in a professional manner. Maintain a clean and orderly appearance while working. Maintain an orderly work space in the assigned service vehicle. Drive company vehicle. Communicate with supervisor regarding schedule and any issues that come up during the install. Help other departments if needed.
Essential Functions:
Must be able to lift up to 75lb. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening before starting work. Recommended to have previous experience in construction, field service, or similar fields.
Pay:
$16.90 - $20.00 per hour
