Position Summary The Sales and Service Technician is responsible for supporting sales growth while providing technical service and field support to customers. This role combines customer relationship management, business development, troubleshooting, installation support, and field service activities. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, technically proficient, and capable of building strong relationships while delivering exceptional service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sales Support Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base. Generate and follow up on customer quotations, proposals, and sales opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Collaborate with Customer Service, Engineering, Production, and Product Management teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Support account management activities and assist in resolving customer concerns. Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and market developments. Technical Service & Field Support Perform field service visits, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer locations. Provide technical support and product training to customers. Assist with installation, startup, testing, and maintenance of company products. Document service activities, customer issues, and corrective actions. Prepare service reports, recommendations, and follow-up documentation. Travel domestically and internationally as required to support customer needs. Ensure compliance with company safety standards and customer site requirements. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate customer records and service documentation. Prepare sales and service activity reports. Coordinate service schedules and customer support activities. Utilize ERP, CRM, and Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects. Qualifications Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in technical sales, field service, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or a related industry. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and manuals. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and ERP/CRM systems. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Sales forecasting and account management. Technical problem-solving and root cause analysis.
