Full Job Description Compensation:
$60,000-$150,000 per year Position Summary The Electrical Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and installing electrical equipment and systems for residential and commercial customers. This position is responsible for providing quality workmanship while maintaining client safety, satisfaction, and a professional service experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Electrical Service & Installation Diagnose electrical equipment and determine appropriate repair solutions. Service and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment. Install electrical equipment and related components. Diagnose electrical concerns and perform necessary repairs. Perform quality workmanship that meets current code requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company installation standards. Complete work in accordance with applicable safety requirements and company standards. Client Service & Professionalism Provide professional and courteous service during every client interaction. Communicate with clients and answer questions and concerns. Build positive relationships with clients through professional communication and quality workmanship. Represent Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric professionally in appearance, attitude, and conduct. Serve as an ambassador and spokesperson for the company. Work collaboratively with team members to provide an exceptional client experience. Safety & Vehicle Responsibilities Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and requirements. Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Operate company vehicles safely and professionally. Travel efficiently between job sites using maps, GPS, and routing tools. Maintain a safe work environment for clients, coworkers, and yourself. Safely work in uneven terrain, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions. Administrative Responsibilities Complete all required and requested paperwork accurately and by established deadlines. Use tablets and mobile software applications as required. Follow written and verbal instructions. Follow all company policies, procedures, and philosophies. Perform related work as assigned. Meet company performance standards established through the performance review process. Training & Professional Development Attend all required meetings and training classes. Participate in ongoing technical training, including occasional after-hours training. Seek additional educational opportunities as needed. Continue developing technical knowledge and job-related skills. Required Qualifications Current Colorado Residential Wireman (RW) License. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to understand, diagnose, service, repair, and install electrical systems, components, and equipment. Valid Colorado Driver's License. Motor Vehicle Record that meets company and insurance requirements. Ability to safely operate vehicles within the company fleet. Possession of required electrical hand tools per company Tool Requirement List. Successful completion of required background checks, drug testing, and employment screening. Basic math and reading comprehension skills. Ability to learn and work with tablet software. Preferred Experience Previous electrical service and installation experience. Previous job-site customer service experience. Experience working with residential or commercial electrical systems. Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment and components. Physical Requirements The employee must be able to: Lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Safely climb ladders. Move safely over uneven terrain and in confined spaces. Work in extreme weather conditions. Respond quickly to sounds and environmental hazards. Properly wear and use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Other Requirements Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company dress code standards. Maintain all required licenses and qualifications. Maintain a Motor Vehicle Record that remains compliant with company and insurance requirements.
